When I was 16 I had an ovarian cyst rupture. It was the most excruciating, horrible pain imaginable. My mother accused me of an ectopic pregnancy but didn’t bother to take me to the doctor either. I wanted to share this with other women. My mother suffered from poly cystic ovaries and severe endometriosis that led to a salpingohysterectomy with part of only one ovary left. I don’t know why she wouldn’t think I would poly cystic ovaries too. I have a daughter 14 and my son’s daughter is 3. Now I must consider my next generations to nurture and lead into womanhood.
