GERD & Acid Reflux

Every day, twice a day, I take either a H2 agonist or proton pump inhibitor to control my reflux. For lay people, this means I take Pepcid, Prevacid, or some other generic stomach medication. I have had reflux my entire life. It has been so bad at times I have lost my voice because of it. In the past few years a link between reflux disease and asthma was discovered. I have had both since childhood but I digress. This post is about a link to a Mayo Clinic discussion of GERD and acid reflux disease.
